At Scherer Talent, we’re more than just a staffing firm. We’re a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in Austin, Texas, and a shared dedication to connecting people and building community. Our journey started long before we founded this company, and it’s shaped by years of experience, hard work, and a genuine passion for what we do.

Ben

Ben began his professional journey as an entrepreneur, co-founding a 3D printing dental lab in Tucson, Arizona. In 2019, he moved to Austin and brought his entrepreneurial spirit to GLG, where he connected private equity clients with expert consultants. His knack for building relationships and leading teams naturally complements Mac’s recruiting expertise.

Mac

Born and raised in Austin, Mackenzie (Mac) launched her career at a large tech-focused recruiting firm. Over the years, she worked her way up from recruiter to managing the entire Austin market, specializing in technology roles like data engineering and software development. After a year in medical sales, Mac realized her true passion lay in tech recruiting and the Austin community she knows so well.
